Structure
All external walls are constructed of concrete covered in plasterboard.
Internal walls are constructed from wooden frames, covered by gib
plasterboard, except the walls seperating the bathrooms and exhibition
space, and the foyer and exhibition space. The floor is varnished
hardwood, except in the bathrooms, where it is concrete. The ceiling
and ceiling beams are constructed from concerte (detailed ceiling
measurements are available on request). All walls andthe ceiling
are painted white.
Lighting
All bays are lit by double fluorescent tubes, except the two bays
directly in front of the bathrooms. A thorn track lighting system
runs the length of the gallery, and we currently have 10 floodlights
and two spotlights that can be fitted to this system.
Access
The space is on the second floor of the building, and access is
via stairs or elevator.
Windows
Windows overlook Tuam Street and high Street. All window frames
are made from brass, painted flat white.
