Proposals are actively sought by The Physics Room from both curators and artists and we welcome curatorial input from the wider arts community. We no longer have an annual call for proposals deadline, but will accept proposals at any time. Notification of successful proposals will be received in due course. Curatorial guidelines and procedures are outlined in the Physics Room’s Strategic Plan.

The Physics Room encourages proposals from artists, writers and curators which are in line with the ambitions expressed above, whether or not they may consider such to be characteristic of their practice as a whole.

Applicants should supply:

• an outline of the proposed project addressing conceptual basis, where appropriate, and a physical description
• support material, including documentation that gives an indication of previous work
• a brief curriculum vitae

To support artists in realizing projects, The Physics Room generally offers:

• artists, writers and/or curators fees
• support with technical requirements
• promotion and media exposure
• Documentation of projects in catalogs or electronic publications

The Physics Room is open to innovation and all policy is offered for discussion.
